Trevor Fitzroy - can create time & space portals by draining a person’s life force. Illegitimate son of Anthony Shaw, the Black King of Hellfire Club. Grandson of Shinobi Shaw. Great-grandson of Sebastian. Shunned by his father, he tries to join the Xavier Security Enforcers along with Bishop & Shard, until the mysterious death of Anthony’s legitimate son, leaving Fitzroy as the only heir, at which point he left the XSE academy. Fitzroy went on to commit crimes for fun but was arrested by Bishop. He escaped prison by traveling into the past & joined The Upstarts, often battling the X-Men [scroll back to read my post on The Upstarts]. After that contest was over, Fitzroy traveled to an alternate dimension & became its ruler until a fatal duel with Bishop, who held Fitzroy’s legs through a portal when it closed, cutting his body in half. It’s later revealed that in his younger days, Fitzroy was the lover of Ruby Summers (daughter of Cyclops & Emma Frost) & joined The Summers Rebellion to free mutants from govt death camps guarded by MasterMold’s Sentinels. He was killed in battle protecting Ruby, who asks fellow mutant Layla to resurrect Fitzroy. Layla warns Ruby she can only restore his body, not his soul which understands right & wrong. Earlier, Layla brought Madrox (Multiple Man) into the future to help their cause & he was shocked that Fitzroy, whose notorious reputation preceded him, was a hero. When Layla says sorry for granting her wish, Ruby tells Layla she doesn’t owe her an apology, to which Layla responds, “I know. I’m apologizing to HIM.” Layla revives Fitzroy, only to ensure that history goes accordingly & they all realize this is how the heroic rebel Trevor Fitzroy became the murderous villain without a soul.

LEXINGTON: Somewhere inside the Eyrie Pyramid. I’m trying to pinpoint the signal. XANATOS: I’m disappointed, Alexander. Did you really believe I didn’t know that you had joined Brooklyn’s rebels? FOX: Well, father, you are well-informed. Did you also know I’m broadcasting this little family chat directly to rebel headquarters? XANATOS: Of course! I’m piggy-backing on your signal. I should have the location of their secret base in under 20 minutes. FOX: NO!! XANATOS: Nice try, my boy. But you can’t defeat me! Your rebels are doomed. And once their gone, there will be no one left to stop me. In fact, before this night is over, I’ll literally be king of the world. And since I’m immortal… I have no need of an heir!
BROOKLYN: Without you, we were no match for Xanatos!! GOLIATH: I didn’t know! We thought our odyssey was fated! We wanted to come home! BROOKLYN: Oh hey, ya know, that makes everything much better!! BROADWAY: Don’t yell at him, Brooklyn. He’s back now. That’s all that matters… I knew you’d come back. Others doubted, but I never lost faith… GOLIATH: What… What happened to him?? BROOKLYN: Broadway, Talon, Maggie and ColdStone battled Sevarius and The Ultra Pack to save the last free humans from being turned into Mutates… Broadway was the lucky one.
